There are several ways in the film in which the director put in a lot of suspense. Suspense is what i think creates a film to be good because it gets us to want to watch more and to get in to the film. Because the film was taken from real life in which actualy happend created a bit of suspense we get to know about how people on the plane actually felt.
During the film we get moments where there is just silence and close up shot to the passengers faces, this to me creates suspense in terms of us thinking if anything bad is about to happen, they say silence is deadly so we feel the atmosphere there.
In the film there is a build up to the actual plot, in a way this is suspense because it keeps us waiting, thinking about when the main action is going to happen.
Towards the end there is a build up to the end climax when they actualy crash, before that we get a clip where the men on the plane actualy fight for their lives to get to the steering wheel, this in ways creates suspense for us because what we actauly want to happen doesnt actually happen this just creates a lot of tension ans suspension.
